I’m trying to populate the address field in the front end post form, so that users can post without having to see the address field, yet still have their address entered.

    I’m using this shortcode:

    [gmw_current_location text_only=”1″ display_by=”street,city,state,zipcode,country”]

To do that I have done this in the functions php file (excerpt from the “WP User frontend” script).

    $address = get_post_meta( $post_id, <span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>do_shortcode(‘[gmw_current_location text_only=”1″ display_by=”street,city,state,zipcode,country”]’)</span><span style=”line-height: 1.5;”> , true );</span>

However i’m not having any luck.  Any Ideas?

    HI Steven,
You can’t get the users current location this way.

When and if the users location exist it will be saved in the cookies. To pull the address of the users current location you should do something like:

Thanks, I got it taken care of.

    You are welcome.
