    Hi Guys,

I have a client using geolocation for wp job manager and they have been using it for the last few months.

Is there a way it can keep the geolocation cached so when they search a job using their location and click into a job – when they click back, it will have kept their location?

    So user journey is currently:
Search jobs page > user clicks “get current location”
Search jobs page > user clicks in to a sinlge job listing
Single jobs page > user clicks back button to return to the listing page
Search jobs page > location info disappeared

Basically i want it to be the same as above but the final step to be that it has retained/cached their location info?

Is there a setting we can update or some php/javascript that can remedy this situation?

    Urls for you:

    Search for Jobs

    Thanks,

    Reuben

    Hi Reuben,
I apologize for missing out your post. In the future if you don’t get a reply from me within 2 – 3 days please bump the topic.

I am going to look into your request and see if I can apply a solution to the plugin as it does make sense. Give me few days to try and apply a solution.

great thanks a lot Eyal, my client will be really happy if we can resolve this as quite a few users have complained to them about it.

Appreciate you coming back to me!

    Hi Reuben, Eyal,

Did you ever find a solution for this? I would also like to cache the users location rather than have to query each time.

    Thank you,
    Michael

    Hi Ruben and Mike,
I apologize I haven’t come up with a solution for this yet. It is not as simple as I thought it would be. I am going to look into this again this week and hopefully will come up with a solution.
