I would like to change the order in which the location, radius, sort etc. query fields and the map are presented on the jobs overview page and their styling, as I think the current presentation is confusing. Plus I would like to add some clarification text.

The problem is that I can’t locate all the files within the geo-job-manager plugin in which the applicable DOM elements are created. I found the “search_keywords”-div, the “search_location”-div, the “search_categories”-div and the “job-types”-ul in Job-filters.php, but I am missing the “radius_wrapper”–div, the “orderby_wrapper”-div and the “map_wrapper”-div. This makes it hard to change the sequence of the div’s.

Could you point out how (e.g. in which files and where) to change the sequence of the query fields and the map? (i.e. the map on top, followed by the various query fields in the order of my choosing and then the resulting jobslisting?

    Best regards, Wilco

    Hello Wilco,
The filters can be found in geo-job-manager/includes/gjm-functions.php line 283 – 190

You can reorder the fielded by moving them around.

The map is dynamically “injected” using javaScript in lines 360 – 361

FYI, you can use the shortcode [gjm_resuls_map] to display the map anywhere in the page instead of below the filters.
