MemberCan you please provide docementation to do the things that your add-on purchase page claims this add-on (Geo Members Directory) can do.
I need to know how to do the following:
- Adds proximity search features to BuddyPress Members page out of the box; no extra code is needed.
- Adds address text input field to the search form of BuddyPress Members page.
- Locator button to auto-detect the user’s current location.
- Quick filters – Display drop-down select box of either countries or states to display results based on the values chosen.
- Choose between default radius value or multiple values that will show as drop-down select box in the search form of the Members page.
- Google Places address autocomplete for suggested results while typing an address in the address field of the search form.
- Choose between Miles or Kilometers.
- Order results by distance – Add “Distance” item to the “order by” drop-down select box of the Members page.
- Display Google map above the list of results with markers representing each of the members.
- Display Google map in each member in the list of results.
- Add additional information to each member in the list of results: Address, Distance “Get Directions” link.
- Screen loader – Display loading message while search is being performed.
- Toggle map between full screen size and normal size.
- Info-window open when mouseover map marker.

MemberHello Grant,
Thank you for the purchase.I apologize for a missing proper documentation page. However, setting up the add-on should not be difficult:
1) Install and activate the add-on just like any other WordPress plugin.
2) Navigate to GEO my WP’s Add- page ( Dashboard -> GEO my WP -> add-ons ) and activate the license key of the add-on. The license key should be in the add-on purchase recipe.
3) Navigate to GEO my WP’s Settings page ( dashboard -> GEO my WP -> Settings ) and click on the “members Directory” tab.
4) Setup the add-on’s features as you wish.At this point you should see the add-on’s features added to the Members directory page of your site.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Thank you.

MemberNo, it is NOT working. Did you try searching for a member by zip code? No results are found!
Also, the map is not being displayed.

MemberYou need to make sure your members add their location using the “Location” tab that added to the Member Profile page by GEO my WP.
The map will show once results were found.

MemberEyal,
Thanks, we have it working fully now. The next step is that we need to be able to add Geo Location data directly to the wppl_friends_locator table during member registration. Will the xProfile Fields add-on do that for us?
To be specific, I need to be able to do two things:
1. Bulk add geo Location data for all of our existing members, without having to ask the members to go update their location themselves.
2. Add Location data automatically during the user/member registration process.
Please advise if your xProfile Fields add-on will do the above fully and, if so, can you please provide instructions on how to accomplish the above.
Thank you.

MemberYou are welcome Grant, I am glad I could help.
1) At the moment it is not possible to bulk geolocate existing members. To do this will require a custom script that will loop through the existing users, geocode each user and save his information in database. Such script is not yet included with the add-on because of the risk in abusing the Google API and running into OVER_QUERY_LIMIT.
2) With the Xprofile Fields add-on members can add/update their location via Profile Field instead of the Location tab. That is indeed also during registration when using the native BuddyPress registration form.
