    Hello!

I’d love to be able to use your plugin with formidable pro as it is done with gravity forms.
    An add-on would be awesome.

The gravity forms one is incredibly useful.

    Thanks!

    Hi Luisn,
I have already started the development of such an add-on but had to pause it because of the amount of work I have with the other add-ons and GEO my WP.

I am planning to continue the development at some point, but I am not sure when.

Glad to hear this. I have used the Geo my WP add-on for WP job manager and am pleased with the functionality. I have a Formidable Pro license and want to add geolocation capabilities. I have unsuccessfully tried to use the code provided in the post http://docs.tempform.wpengine.com/geo-wp-formiable-pro-integration/

Will keep trying…… However, a fully functional add-on would be great.

Any updates on timing? Please keep us posted.’
    Thanks!

Glad to see the Formidable Pro add-on. Questions on output/search maps:

    1. I am interested in a map that can be posted with an individual location for the post for which it was entered. Is the individual map available? Output in a Formidable View?
    2. Are multiple locations shown on a map? For example, if a person searches locations and multiple entries are displayed in the table, would these multiple locations also be shown on the map?
    3. Can the search be made for entries within a radius of an input location?

Thanks, I look forward to giving the add-on a try.

    Purchased and installed the add-on.
I have been able to answer #1 above – the individual entry is shown on the google map.
Unable to get multiple entries on the same map – possible? Also, an excerpt would be nice when hovering over one of the location pins.
Also, if search within a radius is possible, please advise.
    Thanks!

    @Imintenn,
    Thank you for the purchase.

Also, an excerpt would be nice when hovering over one of the location pins.

Noted and added to the todo list.

Unable to get multiple entries on the same map – possible?

Not at the moment, right now each location would show on its own map.

Also, if search within a radius is possible, please advise.

This feature is also not available at the moment.

Regarding multiple entries on single map and searching locations within a radius; My other free plugin, GEO my WP, already does that. It is an advanced proximity search plugin that allows you to build search forms to search and find posts based on location. So instead of developing similar features into Formidable Forms plugin I simply added the ability to sync the posts created with formidable with GEO my WP plugin. This way you can create a map that show all your posts and you can create an advanced proximity search forms.

    Does that make sense?

Please confirm that this is how it would work:

    1. Build a form using Formidable Pro, including the GMW add-on fields. Entries from the form should be submitted as posts.

    2. Create a page with a shortcode similar to [gmw_nearby_locations item_type=”posts” nearby=”y” radius=”x”]

Before the shortcode, include a FP search form be created that would include a GMW location field. In the shortcode example above, “y” would be replaced with the FP field ID from that Formidable Pro field.

Is it possible to make the radius variable “x” be an input from a form? I notice that in each of the shortcodes this is manually entered into the shortcode.

Let me know if it should be done differently.

    Thanks.

It seems that the shortcode that I used in the previous post was from a premium add-on. Please advise on how to use the free plugin to search within a radius.

    Thanks.

These are the steps you should take to make it work with GEO my WP:

    1) Activate the GEO my WP’s Post Types Locations core add-on ( Dashboard -> GEO my WP -> add-ons ).

    2) Go to GEO my WP Settings page ( Dashboard -> GEO my WP -> Settings ) and setup the General Settings and the Post Types settings.

    3) At this point you can geotag post types using GEO my WP’s Location section in the “Post Edit” page. Locations are added to GEO my WP locations table in database which makes the posts searchable with GEO my WP forms.

    4) Navigate to GEO my WP “Forms” page ( Dashboard -> GEO my WP -> forms ), Create and setup a new Post Type search forms.

    5) Place the shortcode of the form [gmw form=”form ID”] in any of your pages. Now you can search and find posts based on locations.

    6) Setup your Formidable form to integrate with GEO my WP in the form “Settings” page. Now, posts location created via the formidable form will be saved in GEP my WP locations database table and will be searchable via GEO my WP forms.

    I hope that helps.
