Hello, i just bought this plugin and added to a website running portuguese language by default.
My question is very simple and complicated at same time.
If I search for Lisbon the results are empty and the map zoom out. If I search for: Lisboa, Portugal the map actually zoom in the city.
where can i change the geocoding? or maybe my settings are all wrong since i’m having an hard time configuring it.August 31, 2014 at 10:17 pm #30993
Thank you for the purchase Pedro .
In the settings page you should have an input box for either region or country code. That should set the default geocoder region.August 31, 2014 at 10:19 pm #30992September 1, 2014 at 8:34 pm #30991September 4, 2014 at 7:16 am #30990
I see now.
I never added support for region but only for language. I will add it to the coming version of the plugin.
Until then adding region=PT ( instead of components=country:PT ) should do. Unless your way is working as well.
Also have a look into my website using a mobile Phone. If you start typing a location inside the widget it Just dissapear. And for this same reason the page is not showing any jobs currently available.September 5, 2014 at 1:04 am #30987September 6, 2014 at 9:39 am #30986
I just looked at your site.
1) The issue on the jobs page seems to be a conflict between Jobify theme’s map and Geo Job Manager plugin. I added the shortcode to a new page I created, “Test Page“, and it seems to be working fine.
2) ON the home page, where did you add the shortcode attribute gjm_use=”2” ? The home page is a template page and you will need to add the attribute in the template file in order for it to work.
3) As for the styling issue on mobile, are you using the latest version of Jobify theme?September 7, 2014 at 1:39 pm #30985September 7, 2014 at 4:19 pm #30984September 7, 2014 at 5:50 pm #30983
