I have created a form using Gravity Forms and placed the latitude and longitude fields below. This is working, so when I drag the marker over a location the lat and long fields populate. However, when you move the marker say approx 10metres in any direction, the lat and long remain the same. When you move the marker say 100metres it picks up new lat and long readings. It seems to be picking up lat and long from a nearby properly or place.
I have placed a marker on top of a car on a street then submitted the form and taken the lat and long and entered them into google – the marker position returned by google does not place it over the car.
I need the marker lat and long recordings to be very accurate.
Does anyone have a solution to this? Any help will be very much appreciated.Private Content HiddenMay 19, 2015 at 10:16 pm #36690

Thank you for your prompt response.
Did you manage to fix the issue – if you have, what do I now need to do?

I have informed you that there is an error with the generated latitude and longitude coordinates when using your plugin with gravity forms. I have paid for the plugin and do hope that you will resolve this issue. Please let me know when you anticipate this issue being resolved.

I have already released a new update, and sent an email to all users, which takes care of this issue.
The latest update is Gravity forms GEO 2.0-beta-4. You can download it from Your Account page.
However, I am working on the next beta version which should be release soon ( Hopefully by tomorrow ). The next beta had few major changes which will require the re-creation of the Geolocation fields. Therefore, to prevent from downloading the current beta and settings up the form fields and have to do it again with the update of next beta you might want to wait for the next release. Otherwise, if that is not an issue you are more than welcome to download the current beta version.May 25, 2015 at 10:12 pm #37143
A new version of the plugin ( 2.0 beta-5 ) was uploaded to the server. You can download it and give it a try.
I again sent emails regarding the new version of the plugin describing the main changes that took place. If you didn’t receive the email and would like to know about the changes let me know and I will post them here.
