Nearest posts in map popup window

Hi Eyal,

I’d like to get a listing of the nearest posts as part of the Global Map popup window.

I tried this as a starting point in my template but it doesn’t work:
<?php echo do_shortcode( '[gmw_nearby_locations item_type="posts" nearby="'.$post->ID.'"]' ); ?>

Any thoughts?

Just the shortcode as text:
[gmw_nearby_locations item_type="posts" nearby="111"]

Where 111 is the id of the respective post

Sorry for missing out your last reply.

I see where the issue is. If you are comfortable with editing a core file I can provide you with a “quick fix” until I release an official update. It is a matter of change a single line of code.

Please open the file
gmw-nearby-locations/gmw-nearby-locations.php

and line 53 which should be:

if ( ! is_admin() ) {

1	if ( ! is_admin() ) {

change to

if ( ! is_admin() || defined( 'DOING_AJAX' ) ) {

1	if ( ! is_admin() || defined( 'DOING_AJAX' ) ) {

Save the file and give it a try.
