Most of the jobs in my database only use “city” and not a complete address. Is there an option to display these jobs in the center of a city? Or is a full address mandatory to display results in a map?
You should be able to use a city name instead of a full address. I am not sure if in such case the marker will show in the center of the city but it will show based on the coordinates of that city ( which could be its center but I never tested that ).
However, I don’t recommend to enter a city name only but at lease city and state, city and zipcode or city and country. Because a city name can exist in multiple locations ( different states or countries ) Google API cannot know to which city you are referring to when creating the job and will use a default city. I hope that makes sense.
Looking at your site again it seems that all of the jobs on your site are coming from Indeed. Job Manager Geolocation add-on cannot display jobs from indeed on the map but only jobs that are saved in the database of your site. A job need to be either created on your site or permanently imported and have the geolocation data saved in custom fields. RSS feeds cannot be displayed on the map since there is no geolocation data pass via the RSS.
a lot of the jobs are coming from indeed. And there are other RSS feeds as well.
In the future there will be a mixture of “own jobs” and jobs from RSS feeds. If jobs from RSS feeds cannot displayed then your plugin is useless for me. You should point out this on your website.
Please give me a refund, because your plugin is useless for me.
