Not too impressed with your Geo Job Manager
One would have presumed that after reading your page https://tempform.wpengine.com/add-ons/geo-job-manager/ that Geo Job manager would function as shown. Obviously you’ve’ got to read the small print nothing is as it says. It seems to me that you have to buy additional add-ons to get it as shown…
I believe that you should articulate that fact at point of purchase to those of us that take things as read.
The issues I have with the basic Geo Job Manger is
A. In settings > Geo Search form Radius doesn’t show the singe value or multiple values that I enter defaults to predefined values
B. Units I want to show single value in kilometers this also default to predefined values of miles kilometers
Also Geo search form > select show map and on Geo single page settings Display map showing the GEO Job Manager location in a single GEO Job Manager page
I get two maps on the single page settings’ this could be an issue with the “petsitter” theme (on ThemeForest} I am using? The developer recommends Geo Job manager although he hasn’t used it himself
I will contact him regarding that issue.
I expect when I purchase something that it should function as it is described to do. I have noticed that others on your forum have also had issues with what I am experiencing.
Not good for business!
Thank you.February 21, 2015 at 7:37 am #30847Eyal FitoussiMember
Thank you for the purchase of the add-on and I do apologize for the issues that you are having with it. I will do my best to help you solve the issues ASAP.

GEO Job manager does not require any additional add-ons in order to function as described. All the features described on the add-on page are part of the GEO Job Manager add-on.
I am not sure what you are referring to as small print so please point me in the right direction where I can clarify any misconceptions. It has never been my intention to mislead any of my users.
2) Regarding the search form issues; after you set the values in the settings page did you add the gjm_use attribute to the [jobs] shortcode ( [jobs gjm_use=”2″] ).
3) Map showing twice on the single job page could indeed be a conflict with the theme. And It already happened in the past ( I can’t remember which theme it was ) . GEO Job Manager plugin uses the action hook single_job_listing_meta_end to display the map in the single job page. If the hook exists twice to the single page template than most likely the map will show twice. You can either mention that to the theme developer or you can email me a zip file of the theme and I will take a look at it ( firstname.lastname@example.org ).

I agree, and so am I when I purchase a software or a service. The issues you have mentioned could be a bug in the software or it could be an incorrect setup; anyway I will help you solve the issues.
If you want to provide me with admin access to your site I will take a quick look and see if there are any issues.

“What is where is the “GMW Search Form” widget.
Go to GEO my WP’s Search Forms page ( GEO my WP -> Search Forms ). Where is?
Frankly I don’t understand? Either I’m missing something or I’m pretty dumb.”
I apologize for the confusion but you are mixing between two different plugins; GEO my WP and GEO Job Manager. Perhaps because GEO my WP’s documentation menu was showing on the left side of GEO Job Manager documentation page. I now removed it.
GEO my WP is a stand alone plugin. Its core feature is proximity search. It allows you to add geolocation to any of your post types and/or BuddyPress member. You can as well build forms that will search and find posts or BuddyPress members based on an address, radius, categories and more. GEO my WP is a free plugin which can be downloaded from here. The name of this website is GEO my WP since this is my first and main plugin. It has information about GEO my WP and its premium add-ons but also information about stand alone add-ons that I developed to work with other plugins such as WP Job Manager and Gravity Form. Users easily mix-up between the different plugins. Perhaps I need a better structure for this website.
I logged into your site and added the attribute gjm_units=”metric” to the jobs shortcode that you created. Now the search form has the default units as kilometers.
Other than that everything seems to work fine with the plugin. It shows the map, and the filters.
Please let me know if you have any more questions/issues regarding Geo Job Manager or Geo my WP.
