Hi Eyal, I hope you’re well,
I contact you today because I’m facing a weird issue.
I use the following plugins: gmw, global maps and premium settings.
I have a global map showing some of my custom post types, with custom markers and a customized top-white search template. It’s configured with info-window on the left.
my problem is: when I click on a marker, the info window that shows hides some information, moreover regarding in-window directions and contact information. The wierd thing is also that hitting submit in the search form solves the thing, even if no current location or radius has been selected: I just open the search form, hit submit and go back to my map and it works…
I can’t find why. A similar form on another subsite seems to work, it’s not related to the browser, it’s not a custom CSS issue, nor a plugin conflict as it seems deactivating every plugin at this subsite’s level doesn’t change anything. It’s not a theme problem… it doesn’t appear as a configuration problem… I really don’t get it. Using a debug tool such as firebug, I get no errors or warnings, but I can see there’s no content in some places where there should be…
Before I finished this message, I ran a test and it seems like it’s a custom post type issue: if I create a map with WP default posts or woocommerce default products I get no issues, but applying this to BadgeOS custom post types makes the problem come back… or could it be more of a database problem?
I had many updates those fed days, do you think it could come from one?
I really need to use those CPTs so I really am lost here. Could you help me to solve this please?
thank you so much in advance,
have a great day,

I’m trying to reinstall every GMW plugins, I’ll let you know.
It seems like being a problem with the first map load: submitting the search form makes the problem go… by the way, how could I get the top-white search form to automatically close on submission? For now the toggle remains opened after hitting “submit”…
thank you again,

1) Let me know if reinstalling the plugin fixes the issue.
I hope you’re fine, sorry to bother you again with this thread but from what I could see, it comes back as it had gone, without getting why…
It solves when submitting the search form….
The problem really seems related to the first page load… could you help me? maybe with a script that would automatically launch a second map load after the first page load (simulating a search)?
on the other topic here I couldn’t find a way to achieve a simple script that would close the search toggle while hitting “search” … may you help also?
finally, I noticed a bug on mobile devices, when enlarging the map to fullscreen, it does cover the width but doesn’t cover the hight of the screen (tested on Iphone 6) is it a bug you can replicate?
thank you so much for your help in advance and have a great day,

1) Regarding the Global Map issue, can yo u post a link to the live map so I could see the issue.
2) Right now I am extremely busy working on multiple projects at the same time. When I am done I will try to provide you with a script for the search-form toggle.
3) Sometimes, depends on the setup of your elements the map will act weird when trying to expend it. Sometimes it will just be Google API which does not load the map properly.
Go to the home page of GEO my WP ( https://tempform.wpengine.com ) from your mobile device and expand the map to see if it work for you or not.March 13, 2015 at 10:43 am #31768This reply has been marked as private.
