    Hello
I want search by custom field .
i mean if result not found on location or post name it will search by meta fields directly.

OR is it possible to make keyword search on Geo My WP free plugin ?

    Hi,

Keywords nor custom fields search are available with the free version. You can use some of GEO my WP hooks to code the features yourself ( require development skills ). Otherwise, you might want to checkout the Premium Settings extension, which provide both keywords and custom fields filters.

Let me know if you have additional questions.

    Ok,
    Thank you for the answer.
I am looking at Premium Extension, and saw Custom Fields under pic. 17, but dont understand how exactly its working.

Under pic. 21, there is a Keywords search, but its says, only Posts and post content. Shall this will be working with products under WooCommerce ( i assume products will be like Posts)?

May be a little bit upgrade of the description page with better pics, will be helpful.

    Hi,

At this exact moment I am wrapping up GEO my WP 3.0 and finishing up my new website. By tomorrow I should have the new website up with all the information updated based on v3.0 and the new extensions.

WooCommerace products are custom post types. So yes, they are pretty much like regular post, but made specifically for product.

When using the keywords features of the Premium Settings extension, the plugin will search for matching words within the product name ( title ) and product content.

Using the custom fields feature of the Premium Settings, you can add any of the existing custom fields as filters to the search form.

Let me know if this helps.
