I created a custom post type named “locations” to use with Geo my WP. Is there any way for the post titles to be included in search results with the addresses? Many of the locations i’m adding don’t come up if i enter the business name in the autocomplete field.
The address field can be only used for an address. Entering the post title in it will result in an error. That is why entering “Water Street East, Charlottesville, VA, United States” will display results.
Also, the suggested results in the address autocomplete is being generated by Google Maps API. It includes address from Google places databased and not from your website. And so, when typing an address, the results that you see are not coming from your own website.
How come the “Type an address to autocomplete” field on the backend won’t find/save location names that the search bar suggested results will?
If on the front end i search for the auto completed “Roxie Daisy, Water Street East, Charlottesville, VA, United States” the plugin returns a “no results” warning even though i have “101 Water St E, Charlottesville, VA 22902, USA” location saved.
Shouldn’t the plugin at least list that location as being within 200 miles?
