    Hi Eyal,

Awesome work on the plugin, super happy to have come across it!

So i have a search form set up with a few categories to choose from. My question is, is it possible to have the search form toggled Open as default? I’d like users to be able to see the categories from the start, rather than have to click on the drop down arrow to find them. I don’t see an option for this, but i’m hoping there’s an edit i can make to the code to accomplish this?

On a side note, i’m also trying to set a category as default, using your snippet from the ‘stickied’ topic. How can i find the “term id” for my category as you’ve mentioned?

Thanks a ton for the great work!

    Hi Endgame,
Thank you for the purchase and for the feedback.

is it possible to have the search form toggled Open as default?

There are not settings to control that but the script below will dynamically click the button on page load so the search form will be open once the page loade. You can add the script to the functions.php file of your theme.

On a side note, i’m also trying to set a category as default, using your snippet from the ‘stickied’ topic. How can i find the “term id” for my category as you’ve mentioned?

Navigate to the admin dashboard and to the "Categories" page. Click to edit the category ( term ) that you would like to exclude then in the URL you will see the tag_ID which is the term id ( ex tag_ID=1 ).

Let me know if that helps.

    Thanks for the fast response!

No luck with the script though – Added it to my functions.php file as is and I’m just getting a white screen. Any clue what could be causing this?

Looks like the code is a bit messed up above. Make sure to change < ?php to

sorry Eyal, but what should I change “<?php” to?   I’m not seeing anything after that sentence in your comment. Thanks again
