    Hi Eyal,

I’ve recently purchased Nearby Posts, Gravity Forms Geolocation, Global Maps. Great work by the way. I really believe that I found the solution for what I’m trying to do.

    Hi Eyal
Following up on the unresolved request for help I sent you.

    Again the options:

1.I didn’t follow your question. Give a few days.
2.It seems like you I’m really busy!
    2.No, stop bothering me
3.I’ve been kidnapped by aliens, I can’t answer you

    Thanks, Marcos

Hello Marcos and thank you for the purchases.

    Again the options:

2.It seems like you I’m really busy!
    2.No, stop bothering me
3.I’ve been kidnapped by aliens, I can’t answer you

    Thanks, Marcos

Well, I sometimes wish I was kidnapped by aliens 🙂 but honestly I was simply missed out your ticket. I have been having issues with BBPress and its notifications. I do apologize for that.

    Regarding your questions:

My primary question now is how can I save post location to a specific post type? I’ve set up in the post locator the post type i wanted.

Out of the box it is only possible to save location to a post via the “Edit post” page of the admin. You can learn about that here.

The post type named “question” which should be geo-located is not working. The user using the front end will write a post and tell where is this post located.

As mentioned above, it is only possible to add location via the admin. To be able to save location to a post from the front-end you will need to use a custom function that will geocode the address entered and save it in database. GEO my WP already provide you with such function and you can see how it is being used with front-end from right here.

    Single question Post.
As you can see there’s “no location found”. For Testing I’ve geo located this post using the WP back-end.

That is because the geolocation data is not saved in GEO my WP database as explained above.

User location. For some reason, the geo location find me at the first time. After that, if Im in another place far alway it keeps me at the place and don’t geo locate me any more.

You need to use the Current Location shortcode/widget to update your position where ever you go. The plugin cannot automatically update your location as you move around. That is not possible using Google API.

Around me. Here I’ve changed via code the icon my for the item icon, But nothing hás changed

Looking at the page it looks like the custom Icon is working. Did you get that fixed?

I was not able to login with the information you provided me with so I couldn’t see the Questions front-end form. BUt as described above you will need to apply the custom function to be able to upate location from the front end.

Let me know if you have any question.

    Thanks.
