I have sweetdate installed and xprofile fields.  Yet I get this message when enabling the new sweetdate add-on feature in the new release

Sweet-date Geolocation add-on requires Sweet-date theme to be installed and activated.

    Hi,
    1) Do you have the Sweet-date official theme or a child theme installed?

    2) Which version of the theme are you using?

    3) HOw did you install the latest version of GEO my WP? Was it an automatic update from a previous version or is it the first time you install the plugin?

    4) Please check the plugin’s folder name ( via FTP ) and make sure it is name geo-my-wp.

    Thanks.

had to start using child theme-yet the functionality of the autocomplete fields are not working. and the shortcode used for searches, works and then sometimes not- so spurious registrations are putting in bogus locations.

    Hi Mark,
I apologize for missing out your reply.

Are you still having the issues above?

I switched to sweetdate theme.all sorted.

as for my other query which was closed:

    https://tempform.wpengine.com/support/topic/social-site-i-am-a-looking-for-field-change-search-option/

I would recommend looking into the plugin.

    BP Profile Search

If you could factor this into the search for xprofile fields to allow changing the title of each filed, the add-on would work.

For the moment I have paid for the add-on but I am not using it on my site as the search fields are ‘looking for a woman” produce male results.  So the add-on is not fit for purpose at this moment in time.

    HI Mark,

    I switched to Sweet-date theme.all sorted.

    Perfect!

as for my other query which was closed:

I apologize for that. I run a script that automatically close inactive topics for over 10 days.

    BP Profile Search

If you could factor this into the search for xprofile fields to allow changing the title of each filed, the add-on would work.

I will add a filter to the next version of GEO my WP ( hope to release this week ) that will allow to modify the labels of the Xprofile Fields.

For the moment I have paid for the add-on but I am not using it on my site as the search fields are ‘looking for a woman” produce male results. So the add-on is not fit for purpose at this moment in time.

The Xpofile Fields add-on has nothing to do with the search forms filters. Using the add-on members are able to add/update their location using the Edit Profile page of BuddyPress and during BuddyPress registration. Without the add-on the only way to add/udpate a location is using the “Location” tab of GEO my WP.
