MemberHello, everything was working fine and now all of a sudden geo job manager will not show any search results. The location data is all correctly saved into the job posts.
I have tried deactivating all plugins, changing themes etc… to no avail.
The permalinks to the job posts are all correct and working.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

MemberHello Rob,
Can you please go to the Settings page of WP Job Manager and go to GEO General Settings tab. Click “Import” and test the search again to see if results are showing.Thank you.

MemberHey, thanks for the reply.
I have done this and I get an error message saying “no locations imported”. After looking at all the job posts, they appear to be saving the location information correctly, I also created a couple from the back end, assuring that all location information gets saved but end up with the same results (no results).I have tried completely reinstalling all wp/geo job manager related plugins to no effect.
I am a bit lost as everything has been working fine until now.
Thanks,

MemberI would like to add some information.
Using a personalised form and its shortcode, the plugin does show jobs correctly. Using [jobs gjm_use=”2″], [jobs] or any variation, no results show.
I would prefer to use the [jobs …] version as it searches the posts without reloading the page. Thanks,

MemberThank you for the information Rob,
You must use [jobs gjm_use=”2″] in order to have the GEO features in the form. The attribute gjm_use=”2″ is what triggers the GEO features. However, that should not effect the way the results being displayed; they should still display using ajax ( without page load ). It might be a JavaScript error which causes the issues. Can you provide a link to the live search page?
Thank you.

MemberHey, I am using the shortcode mentioned. I have attached a link to the search form in the private section below.
Thanks,

MemberThe issue has nothing to do with GEO Job Manager plugin. You simply didn’t choose a job type in any of your jobs. You need to either set a job type or disable the Job Type filter in the search form. I set the job type of one of the jobs and it is now showing in the results.

MemberOk, now I feel stupid. Thanks for your great support and for clearing this silly issue up, somehow the job creation form had changed, not allowing a job type to be selected.
