    Hi Eyal,

    That would be great, thanks, I’m happy editing a core file.

    I’d be very interested in hearing about this as well. Any progress on this?

    OOOPS.

    Forgot to include the function file:

    include_once( GMW_PT_PATH .'/includes/gmw-pt-update-location.php' );

    Managed to create a workaround:

    I included a button in my popup window that when clicked, calculates and shows the directions. When clicked again, it hides the directions.

    In my functions.php:

    add_action('gmaps_gmpt_iw_template_before_live_directions', 'insert_diections_button');
    function insert_diections_button() {
    ?>
    <button class="get-directions-button show">show directions</button>
    <?php
    }

    In my custom javascript file:

    $(document).on('click', '.get-directions-button', function(e) {
    if ($(this).hasClass('show')) {
    e.preventDefault();
    formId = $(this).siblings('.gmw-get-directions-wrapper').find('.gmw-directions-form-id').val();
    gmwFormId = $(this).siblings('.gmw-get-directions-wrapper').find('.gmw-form-id').val();
    gmwCalcRoute( gmwFormId, formId );
    $(this).html('hide directions').toggleClass('show');
    $(this).siblings('.gmw-get-directions-wrapper').show();
    $(this).siblings('.directions-panel-wrapper').show();
    }
    else
    {
    $(this).html('show directions').toggleClass('show');
    $(this).siblings('.gmw-get-directions-wrapper').hide();
    $(this).siblings('.directions-panel-wrapper').hide();
    directionsDisplay.setMap(null);
    }
    });

    And finally, in my css:

    It might be of help to others 🙂

    I’m trying to set it as a generic setting – it should apply to all maps and forms.

    Hi Chris,

    Sorry, I did a bit more than the original code. This is what I used and it doesn’t seem to do much…

    I tried yours as well with the same result 🙁

    I must be missing something…

    It doesn’t seem to work on my maps, logged out users can still zoom in to 20. I just added the function to functions.php as was – or do I need to alter it in some way to make it specific to my forms?

    I was trying to do the same and I think I got it to work 🙂

    This is the code I used (snapped from the posts locator dropdown example:

    I attached a file which contains the complete code – the content has to be added to your functions.php file

    Ok, I’ll work around it 🙂

    Just the shortcode as text:
    [gmw_nearby_locations item_type="posts" nearby="111"]

    Where 111 is the id of the respective post

    Hi Eyal,

    I didn’t make any changes to the plugin, beta 10 is still activated. The problem occurs only when I use a form to create a custom post type instead of a regular post. It works fine when creating a regular post.

    Hi Eyal,

    The problem with the duplicates is back again 🙁 but this time it only occurs with a custom post type I created with the Types plugin

    Unfortunately no luck either.

    In the file header it gives this instruction which was the first one I tried:
    your-theme's-or-child-theme's-folder/geo-my-wp/global-maps/posts/popup/
