After much checking it turned out to be the nickname being different to the username, or so I believe. I can’t work out why this is the case as I’ve checked all other users on the site and they all match so hopefully this problem should be resolved now.
I will need to get the child theme working properly as shown in #18334 above but this is not a panic.

Unfortunately users are not able to create posts as they only have access to their profile via the front end. The user that is working is because he raised a support ticket in the support system and I believe that this is what is allowing that user to be seen as an author.
What I am considering is creating a custom page and accessing it via a POST or GET request rather than the Author link. Do you think that would work?

Thanks for the prompt response.
Before you replied – I made the following changes in the plugin directory I made a copy of:-
plugins/gmw-users-geolocation/search-forms/blue folder and called it streetfit (client name)
plugins/gmw-users-geolocation/search-results/blue folder and called it streetfit
both of these then appeared in the Admin panel and I set both search-forms and search-results to streetfit. This worked perfectly as I could edit the css in the streetfit folders. (see plugin directory attachment)
After you replied I moved these to the folder you suggested (see child theme directory attachment)
When I tested the option to select street fit in the admin panel had disappeared and no changes were available.
I then added streetfit folders back into the plugin directory and I could select streetfit from the admin panel. I then tested and found that search-results/streetfit/style.css in the plugins directory was still the active stylesheet.
Finally, I tried copying the blue folder to the child theme but alas it still used the blue plugin directory rather than the child theme.
I can only presume from this that the child theme files are not quite right. Any help would be most appreciated.
Off subject. Author template – which files does it use in the plug as I can’t find them.
