    Thanks for the information.
If you won’t release it in the next two days, it would be great if you could email.

Oh man, searched for hours and now got it.
Wasn’t a problem with your plugin. It was just a problem with “Plugin Organizer” that deactivated the plugin for page 2

    Fixed. Thank you.

I tried to, but there’s always an alert box titled “Undefined” when submitting the form and it doesn’t load the next page. Tried to disable all custom functions and plugins (also this script) but still get “Undefined”, so I’m not able to see error messages.

ANYWAY, I’ve figured out the problem. It has to do with the problem with german addresses, I’ve written you via email. Especially there seem to be problems with the “ß” in “straße” (which means “street” and is in almost every address).

    – Tried to activate the old version of GMW (I had version 2.5.) and the script works fine again.
    – Tried the new beta version and it clears all GMW fields in the post, when submitting the form if the address contains “ß”.
    – Also tried the new beta version BUT with the old “gmw-pt-update-location.php”. Then the address with the “ß” is entered in “type an address to autocomplete” but all the other fields are still empty (longitude etc.).

No it’s two forms on two different (not home) pages.

Oh, this link was just an example link (mypage.com). Didn’t know that there is an existing site 😉

So I use your default plugin, not the one used on that page 😀

Do you already have an idea when this feature will be implemented?
Just need to know because I’m launching my website in 4 weeks. So, I would need to find another solution in the mean time, if you think it will definitely last longer than that.

    Thank you.

EDIT: Read your reply in the other read. The new beta of the Nearby Posts will include the “order by date” function, right? Thank you.

    Got it to work with get_post_field( ‘post_author’, $post[‘ID’] );

But would be great if you could email me the beta of the next version.

    No, I haven’t got it working. 😉
I only get the results of the main geomywp plugin ordered by date, not the add-on “nearby posts”.

Is the addon coming soon during the next 3-4 weeks or can you give me a solution for the meantime?

    Sorry there was a misunderstanding.
What I meant was ordering the posts of the “nearby posts” plugin (the shortcode).

With the following function that I’ve got from your tutorial, I only get my results of the main geomywp plugin ordered by date, which is not what I wanted. Additionally, it is DESC and I want it ASC.

    Thanks a lot.

    Thank you for that answer.

The problem is that users can also open the single posts without using the search form by using a list of posts (which doesn’t use any distance settings). So, I need to calculate the distance between the address again in the single.php.

I have the address of the logged in user in a variable “$user_address”.
Is there a function that I can use to calculate the address between the user address and the address in the post?

    Thanks a lot

    ,Yes, a single post page.

The distance is automatically displayed on each post found in the results page. I need some piece of code to also display the same distance in the single.php.
